We loved our stay at Grand Hotel Saint Michel. It's located in a lovely and central area of Paris with some of our favorite boulangeries. It was an easy walk to most places and the Luxembourg gardens were only a 2 minute walk away, as was the RER B station which made it easy to get to CDG airport. We had been traveling a lot by the time we arrived that night. We were greeted by the friendly and helpful Lillian who was a ray of light throughout our one week stay. She took time to suggest places of interest and really listened and offered us a late checkout free of charge, although we didn't end up needing this. We enjoyed the breakfast in the beautiful basement restaurant and the afternoon tea in the lobby. We were given an upgrade to a balcony room which was gorgeous. The room was small but well appointed. The bed was really comfortable and just what we needed after walking all day. The bath/shower was also much appreciated. Everyone at this hotel was friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return and have recommended this hotel to family and friends.

Nice hotel in a great area of paris. Downside is that metro is a bit of a walk. Room was small but nice and qualitative. I had to return home one day earlier due to family circumstances. I really appreciate they did not charge the last night! There is also a spa in did nit visit.

Grand Hotel Saint Michel was the cutest hotel. They had fully decorated for Christmas by November 18. It is very centrally located to various bus stops and trains/metros. Its in the heart of a college town, with the University of Sorbonne is literally across the street. Being in a college town makes for the perfect stay because you will easily find restaurants, pubs, and souvenir shops. The Pantheon is not too far of a walk, and the musee de cluny is also close by. The fact that hotel is located within the latin quarter makes this the perfect place. Not to mention, for those who love emily in paris… her house, gabriel’s restaurant, and the boulangerie are all about a 6 minute walk! The hotel itself is small and cozy, I loved they had a spa that is available to the guest at no additional cost. The room itself is on the smaller side, the only major issue we had was with the shower… the way the shower head was placed is in an interesting spot, so it makes it a bit complicated at times to get the door to open or close. Unfortunately our comforter was dirty or stained… but we just did without it. Net this is a must stay when in Paris.

Small, but nice hotel. The rooms are small, we paid for a superior room and had just enough space to not feel cramped. There is a lift or windy stairs. The staff was very friendly. Construction noise in the morning sucks, but it is not hotel, it is next door. Centrally located!

For almost $2,300 you would expect a room bigger than being able to hit the bed when the door is opened and a bathroom that would accommodate 2 people. Breakfast was ok but in other hotels during our 3-week trip were much nicer and varied. Location was nice. But this was ridiculous! We saw room next door to us - much bigger - but after unpacking, a move was not attractive. We asked for some kind of accommodation or partial refund instead and was assured they would contact our travel agent. No consideration yet. Felt front desk staff was condescending. This really put a damper at the end of our trip.
